Spring ISD Education Foundation

The Spring Independent School District Education Foundation was established in 1993 to benefit the students and teachers of the District. This non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is a collaborative effort that includes local business, community, and educational leaders.

The Mission of the Spring ISD Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to the Spring Independent School District to enhance the quality of education.

Some of the Foundation’s programs include:

Grants for Teachers

Grants support innovative classroom projects, proposed by teachers, for which traditional funding is not available. In the spring of 2014, the Foundation awarded five grants totaling $26,250. To date, the Foundation has awarded over $1 million in grants to Spring ISD teachers.

Scholarships for Students

The Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors to help with the cost of higher education. Applicants must meet specific criteria to be considered for each scholarship. Read more about the scholarships offered by the Foundation »
