In Spring ISD, we are delighted to offer several high-quality Early Childhood programs, for children four years old and younger.
Our most widely available program is Pre-Kindergarten, which is available at all of our campuses. This is for children who are four years old by September 1 of the current school year and meet state eligibility requirements.
PPCD (Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities) is available for children at least three years old who are identified as having a disability or delays.
The Even Start Family Literacy Program is a federally funded program that runs Early Childhood classes for infants through Pre-K while their parents are receiving GED and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes in the same building.
The Early Learning Academy is a licensed daycare facility at Carl Wunsche Sr. High School that serves as a lab for high school students studying to become Early Childhood teachers.
The Teen Parent Program is for students who wish to enroll their child in the Early Learning Academy at either Carl Wunsche Sr. High School or Westfield High School.
