Mission Statement

The Parent Engagement Department will strive to create, support and strengthen sustainable programs and initiatives for parent engagement which focus on the academic, emotional and social success of their children. We will create partnerships among the schools, families and the community to help all students reach high levels of academic achievement. We believe each child should be given opportunities to be successful and understand that active participation by parents and families will help promote student achievement.

Mrs. Evelyn Wilcox

Meet Evelyn Wilcox

Evie Wilcox is the PTO president of Bammel Middle School where she was instrumental in re-establishing the organization. She has been married for 30 years and is the proud matriarch of three children and four grandchildren. She is the CEO of ANR Transport.

Evie is very passionate about education. She became involved with PTA and Girl Scouts of America 24 years ago and PTO 17 years ago. “Parent involvement is very important to me because it shows my children that I care. It also models positive behavior and I believe children learn what they live. I believe in communication and doing my part,” says Evie.

We appreciate all of the contributions that Evie and the PTO officers of Bammel Middle School have made to the Spring ISD community.
