HOUSTON - Sept. 14, 2012 - Spring High School will celebrate homecoming Sept. 17-22 with traditional activities including dress-up days, pep rallies and a dance. The highlight of the weeklong celebration will be game day, Thursday, Sept. 20.
The Spring High School Alumni Association will host the 2012 Homecoming Reception at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Black Box Theater at Spring High. During a program at 6 p.m., two scholarship recipients from the class of 2012 and the Outstanding Alumnus and Distinguished Faculty/Staff award winners will be introduced. These awards have been given annually since 1997.
Following the reception, the big game between the Spring High Lions and Klein Collins Tigers will kick off at 7 p.m. at Leonard George Stadium. The homecoming king and queen and their court will be introduced at halftime.
The week will culminate with the homecoming dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22. Tickets are are being sold at Spring High School during all lunches for $20 each. Tickets will also be available at Carl Wunsche Sr. High School during all lunches Sept. 17-19. The theme for the dance is "A Night Under the Stars.”
