Mr. Terrance Sanders joined Bailey Middle School as the Interim Principal in February 2016.  He joined the Spring Independent School District (SISD) in 2016 as the principal of Heritage Elementary School.  Prior to becoming a member of SISD, Sanders was a campus and district administrator in Houston ISD.  Sanders began his career as an elementary teacher in Charlotte-Meckleburg School District in Charlotte, North Carolina.  During his free time, Sanders enjoys all things associated with his college alma mater-Clemson University, especially football on Saturdays in the fall.  Above all, Sanders wants to engage and ignite the passion he has for learning in all students he serves.

Mrs. Adelle Hice, Associate Principal

Mrs. Hice serves as the Associate Principal for Bailey Middle School.  Mrs. Hice started her education career as a social studies teacher and then became a testing coordinator and later worked in central office with the research and data analysis department.  Ms. Hice received two bachelor’s degrees from Utah State University.  One bachelor’s in Sociology, Psychology, and Political Science and the other in Secondary Social Studies Education.  When Ms. Hice arrived in Texas, she earned her master’s degree in Education Administration from St. Thomas University.

Mr. Hykeem Craft, 8th Grade Assistant Principal

Mr. Craft serves as the 8th grade assistant principal at Bailey Middle School. During his tenure as an educator, he has served as a teacher and educational leader at both the middle and high school levels. Most recently, Mr. Craft served as a secondary ELA instructional specialist in Galena Park ISD, as well as instructional team leader and teacher. Prior to that, he served as a coach, high school English and German teacher, and middle school reading teacher in Clarksville, Tennessee. Mr. Craft is a proud graduate of Austin Peay State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English and his master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. Currently, Mr. Craft is a doctoral candidate for a doctoral degree in educational leadership at Sam Houston State University.

Mrs. Sierra is in her 2nd year as the 7th grade assistant principal at Bailey Middle School.  Prior to working for Spring ISD, Mrs. Sierra had 9 years of administrative experience in Florida and over 7 years of teaching both elementary and middle school students.  She has a graduate degree from both Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University.  Mrs. Sierra is committed to maximizing children's opportunities to succeed academically and socially.  She is confident this is possible as long as relationships between parents, students, faculty, staff and the community are built and all align together for the sake of the most precious resource- our children.

Mrs. Mikia Barnes, 6th Grade Assistant Principal

Mrs. Mikia Barnes, 6th Grade Assistant Principal

Mrs. Barnes is beginning her second term as 6th grade assistant principal at Bailey Middle School.  Over the past thirteen years, she has served as elementary assistant principal, high school instructional coach, both elementary and middle school teacher, and education consultant.  Mrs. Barnes is a proud graduate of Alcorn State University.  She earned her Master’s degree at Lamar University and will complete her Doctorate degree in Education Leadership this spring at Sam Houston State University.
