This is my fourth year as Principal of Reynolds Elementary School. I am excited to be the Principal of this great school with such a rich history. My goal as principal is to continue to create a school culture where safety, student achievement, and community relationships are highly evident.
It is an exciting time to be a part of Reynolds Elementary. Our test scores have increased, we have added new academic programs and clubs and the number of parents actively volunteering and participating on our campus and in the PTO have increased. One such program that I am excited to announce, is the addition of the first Elementary Band program in Spring ISD. Also, we will have a Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Technology program (STEM) that will be available for our students in second through fifth grade. Our desire is to begin introducing Engineering concepts to our students at the elementary level with the goal of guiding them into engineering careers. We are also proud to announce that our PTO raised $20,000 during the 2015-2016 school year. They have graciously decided to donate three carts of Chrome Books, which will serve as mini, laptop computers for our Kindergarten, First and Second grade students. With this addition, each grade level will have a set of 25 chrome books for whole group or small group instruction. These new programs and resources are one powerful representation of the Reynolds’ team and the impact we are all having on the education and enrichment for our students. We believe, more than ever, that our parents, teachers, staff, and community believe in our school vision and mission.
Reynolds Elementary is a safe and caring school that has dedicated teachers and staff who plan, collaborate, and operate with laser like precision with the best interests of students’ academic success in mind. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 281-891-8240.
