  • Need help completing the annual update?

    In-person support and technology at the Spring ISD Community Engagement Center at 17125 Ella Blvd.

    Sessions will be held for the next two weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

    In order to ensure everyone’s health and safety, masks will be required and all attendees will have their temperature taken before entering the building. 

    Assistance will be provided in both Spanish and English.

  •  Principal Mike Walker 


    Mike Walker had been at Burchett Elementary for two years in Spring ISD. Prior to that he was a principal in Houston ISD for nine years where he took Fondren Elementary from recognized to exemplary and became the HEB Elementary Principal of the Year in 2013. Including his time as a teacher and an assistant principal, Mike has been in education 24 years. Mr. Walker has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree in educational administration from Texas A&M University.  He has been married for 22 years to Traci Walker and they have one son, Mike Jr., who is in the 7th grade.


    Mike most recently took on the role of director of talent acquisition and retention for Spring ISD for two years.

    8:35am - 3:40pm

    Students arriving after 8:35am are tardy.

    Attendance is taken at 9:30am.

    Students arriving to school after 9:45 will be counted absent.
