Dear Marshall Family,
Welcome to the 2017-18 school year. Our theme this year is “Moving full STEAM Ahead”. Last year, we had some successes, and this year we will build upon those achievements and become strategic about our brand and opportunities for growth.
Elementary years are a critical time in a child’s life and development, therefore we must work together to ensure the success of every child. This year we will build upon a rich foundation, and expand our college preparatory focus by implementing a strategic curriculum, and building a nurturing culture to ensure that 100% of our scholars are prepared to soar. Having served as a Principal in several schools, I am keenly aware of the needs of our children and families. However, when schools and families work closely together nothing is impossible. To accelerate our success, I have identified four key components that will drive academic achievement and ultimately distinguish Marshall as a school of excellence. These core components align to Spring ISD initiatives. The key components are:
As we prepare to launch the year, I encourage you to work with our great teachers and staff to support your child academically, embrace our efforts to build strong relationships, and become a volunteer.
