  • Grandparents' Day Form - Northgate Crossing Elementary

    Northgate Crossing Families,
We know what a special part grandparents play in our students' lives. This Friday, Nov. 18th we invite all grandparents to pay a visit to your student here at school. You can have your photo taken with your grandchild on our special backdrop, enjoy light refreshments, and then visit the book fair together in our library. The window for visiting is 9:30-12pm; please check in at the front desk.

Please see the attached form. In an effort to speed up the check-in process, we are asking for names of grandparents who will be attending. You only need to fill out one form per family. For those who have signed up and are currently in our VSOFT system, name tags will be available for pick-up upon arrival in the front office. All others will have to get their tags printed on that Friday and must present a photo ID.

A paper copy of this form will be going home with your student tomorrow (Wed.) but we wanted to send it to you electronically today.

Please return this form by Thursday, November 17, 2022.

If the grandparent is going to check the child out for the day and is not on our paperwork, we MUST have a note from the parent allowing the student to be released to them. You can send a written note with the student or you can email any time before the event starts. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing our treasured grandparents!

NOTE: In order to facilitate Grandparents' Day, many of our students will not be eating lunch in the cafeteria; therefore we will NOT have our normal parent lunch visits this Friday only; parent lunch visits will resume Friday during the week after Thanksgiving.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing our treasured grandparents!
