You and your child should have received a special invitiation to attend scholar-led conferences during Parent Empowerment Week, March 2-5.

What are scholar-led conferences?

• The teacher facilitates the discussion.
• The student presents their work and guides the discussion.
• The parents listen and speak with their child about his or her progress and needs.

During the 20-minute conference, your scholar will reflect on their strengths and challenges, academic accomplishments and improvements, and skills they are working on to be successful on STAAR.
