Dear Parents and Scholars,

Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year! We, at Thompson Elementary School, will continue to strive for excellence with our scholars to ensure that we provide a quality education to each of them. Our theme this year is “Education: The Passport to Our Future!” Our continued goal as a school community is to focus on every child, every day.

Our top priorities are safety for all, accelerating academic achievement, and social-emotional learning engagement. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) will spearhead our efforts throughout the year to aid in advancing scholars’ growth and achievement. As a staff, we will all work hard at meeting our scholars where they are with academics and behaviors. We will be intentional in creating a purposeful plan of action to accelerate their growth.

Every Student, Every Teacher, Every Day is the lens for our district and this year we are operating with the mindset of being “#Unstoppable!”. Please continue to support us by having your scholars in attendance every school day, and working with your scholars on striving for excellence with positive behavior choices. 

It is a distinct privilege to continue to serve in the Thompson Community. I am again looking forward to partnering with each of you to provide the best for your scholars!
