Welcome Thompson Elementary Family. I am looking forward to working with you and your scholars during their time here! As your school counselors I have a lot of great things planned for families and students. This will be my third year at TES, and my 11th year in education.

As a school  counselor I take on many different roles within a school. My duties include classroom guidance lessons (during homerooms), small group and individual counseling, as well as consultation with parents, teachers, and administrators. While I do not discipline students, I can assist with positive behavior strategies. My goal is for each student to develop socially, emotionally, and academically, and we strive to create a safe and positive environment in which each child can accomplish this.

I work with students for a variety of reasons, including: academic concerns,  personal struggles, mental health concerns, and peer issues. I can also assist our families in times of hardship, as I have access to many community resources. As  a counselor, I am  dedicated to helping each child succeed in school and life.
