Hey there! My name is Jenny Farris. This is my fifth year as a teacher here at Anderson Elementary. I grew up about one hour south of Houston in Brazoria County and I attended college at Sam Houston State University where I graduated with honors in Interdisciplinary Studies.

I have a few hobbies including cooking, reading, spending time with my family and playing with my two puppies, Beaux and Sadie. Beaux is a seven-year-old lab/beagle mix, and Sadie is a chihuahua who is about four years old. Another hobby I have is traveling. I have visited beautiful countries with rich cultures, such as Costa Rica and Kenya.

I am very much looking forward to this year and having the opportunity to work with your student. Go Gators!

I am a product of Spring ISD myself. I attended Winship Elementary, Twin Creeks Middle School, and Spring/Wunsche High school. I then went on to graduate from Stephen F. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, cooking, playing with my dog, Jade, and crafting! I am so excited to see what this year holds!

Ms. Rosa Batista, Bilingual Teacher

Hello my dear Gators! My name is Rosa Batista and I am honored to be an Anderson Gator. This will be my 3rd year as a 5th Grade Bilingual Teacher. I graduated from NYIT with a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, but my passion is teaching, so I got my bilingual teaching certification here in Texas. I was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in NYC and now am a Texan. I have been part of the Anderson family for years since my children are both Anderson Gators and it’s my pleasure to be able to educate our youth at this exceptional campus.

I have two wonderful kiddos, Bryan, who is an 8th grader at Robertson Middle School and Jade, who is a 3rd grader here at Anderson Elementary.

My family and I love traveling, especially to warm tropical places with beautiful beaches. I am looking forward to meeting you all and looking forward to an amazing year!
