Ms. Brittany Bean, At Risk Counselor

Hello Marlin Family,

My name is Brittany Bean and I am so excited to serve as the Pre- K- 2nd grade Counselor at Marshall Elementary. I have 10 years of educational experience that have all been served within Spring ISD. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2012 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Special Education. I began my educational career as a Special Education Inclusion Teacher for eight years. After transitioning out of the classroom, I served as a Digital Learning Coach and Literacy Coach, all at Heritage Elementary.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, crafting, and relaxing. My family is everything to me. I am a mother to a wonderful daughter who encourages me to do what I love daily.

My background has taught me that building positive relationships is key in developing and maintaining a  positive learning environment for all. My goal is to provide ideas, inspiration, and resources that will help our students grow socially and emotionally. As a family, we will communicate and collaborate in ensuring that we meet the needs of our students.
