Mrs. Karen Bodiford (Coach)
Greetings!
Let me introduce myself, I am Karen Bodiford, an academic coach at Marshall. After spending 2 years as a World Language teacher in Dallas, Texas and 14 years as a Dual Language teacher in Jacksonville, Texas (1 year in 3rd grade/13 years in 4th grade), I moved to Spring to be closer to family. I joined the staff at Marshall Elementary in 2015 as a 4th Grade Math teacher. In 2016 I accepted the role of Literacy Coach for grades 3-5 and then moved to the Math coach position in 2017. This year, I will work as an instructional coach for both ELAR and Math. This is my 6th year as a Marlin, and I feel confident that this will be the best year yet. I am blessed professionally with a career that I love and very proud to be a part of the Marshall family working in a role that helps grow teachers and students. In my personal life, I am also blessed to have two wonderful children, one daughter and one son, and two incredible grandchildren. Any time you see me, I will be happy to share my gbaby pictures. Yes, I am that grandmother.
