Hi there!

My name is Megan Turner and I am beyond thrilled to be teaching FIRST GRADE this year! This is my fourth year at Marshall Elementary, with the last three being in Kindergarten. 

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from Sam Houston State University. Eat 'Em Up, Kats! I then continued to pursue my teaching certification. 

I am so blessed to have the opportunity to continue with this group of scholars, watching them learn and grow, celebrating all their wins, and seeing all the “aha” moments. I can’t wait to welcome my new scholars to #TeamTurner as we embark on the adventure of this wonderful new year! Hello, my name is Danielle Barron. I am incredibly excited about teaching at Marshall Elementary for a 3rd year. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston. Go Coogs! I am a graduate from Spring ISD and I am glad I have the opportunity to teach the community that I have grown up in. I have been inspired to teach by the wonderful teachers that I have had throughout the years. 

I hope to be an amazing teacher for your scholar.  I know that together we can make it a wonderful year and I am excited to meet #BarronsBesties.

Hello, my name is  LaToya Mayberry.

This is my very first year as a teacher and I am very excited about teaching at Marshall Elementary. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University and can finally say I am a PVAMU Alumni! As a teacher, I strive to plant seeds in our children and help them grow into the individuals of tomorrow. It truly takes a village to raise a child. Therefore, to me, teaching is not a job, it is an honor to help mold generations of the future.

Hello Marshall family.

My name is Jakeria Bogan, and this is my first year at Marshall. I obtained my Bachelors of Science from Prairie View A&M University. I am also a Spring ISD graduate and it feels amazing to be back where it all started and being able to mold scholars and watch them grow.My hobbies are hiking and working out in my free time. 

As an educator, it is my job to help scholars succeed in their growth and I know we can do it together!

Hello, my name is Rossemary McDowell.

I graduated from Western Governors University with my Bachelors of Elementary Education.This is my 6th year of teaching and 10th year in Education.Teaching is a precious gift and I thank God for the opportunity to be doing what I love daily. I look forward to each school year because it provides us with the opportunity to build personal relationships and ultimately scholar success. I am so excited about the school year and ready to engage in amazing adventures with my scholars!
