Mrs. Estella Randle

Hello....

Welcome to our Second grade class. I am Mrs. Randle. This is my first year here and I am very excited to be at Marshall working with your child.  I am also the team leader of this great team. I graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and Consumer Sciences . This is my 20th year of teaching and 14th year in the Spring District.

I have been married for 18 years with 6 children and 4 beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and sitting in the backyard with my husband. This is going to be a great year for 2nd Graders at the MANSION.

Ms. Tiffini Alexander

Born and raised in Dayton, OH, Ms. Tiffini Alexander began her academic career at Wright State University majoring in International Studies. Having taught abroad in Spain and South Africa, she developed a profound love for education and advocating for children's needs. Ms. Alexander then obtained a Masters of Education degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University to pursue her passion as an educator. Her experience consists of directing child care centers, teaching Kindergarten and being a reading interventionist for 3rd and 4th grade. In Tiffini’s spare time she enjoys great laughs and conversations with loved ones while eating delicious food. She is also a mother and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In her new role at Marshall as a 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Tiffini Alexander remains dedicated to challenging structural inequities that limit equitable learning opportunities for young learners.

Ms. Tereza Cabrera

Hi,

My name is Tereza Cabrera. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I taught 3rd and 5th grade while attending college. This will be my first year teaching in the district and I am also new in the community. I have a daughter whom I spend most of my time with. We are either at home watching movies and reading or outside enjoying the fresh air. I am looking forward to this great year ahead and excited to meet everyone.

Mrs. Celina Morgan (Bilingual Teacher)

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Celina Mariela Morgan. Soy de La Unión, El Salvador. Me gradué de la Universidad de Houston con una licenciatura en Enseñanza y Aprendizaje. Soy una maestra bilingüe certificada por el estado de Texas. Este será mi cuarto año en Marshall Elementary como maestra Bilingüe, con experiencia previa como maestra de segundo y cuarto grado en Willis ISD. Me enorgullece ser parte del programa bilingüe donde los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de desarrollarse en dos idiomas. Mi principal objetivo es hacer que los niños amen aprender, y hacer de cada momento que los niños están en la escuela un espacio de aprendizaje y crecimiento continuo.

Ms. Naya Rocker

Hello,

My name is Naya Rocker and I am very grateful to be part of the Marshall Marlin Family! 

I grew up in Houston, TX and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2017. I continued my education journey in Nacogdoches, Tx. In 2021 I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (EC-6); AXE EM’ JACKS!! 

While in Nacogdoches for 7 years, I gained experience at the Janice A. Patillo Early Childhood Research Center with Toddlers and Pre-k. I then taught 2nd grade for 2 years at Brooks Quinn Jones Elementary. 

This year will be my 3rd year teaching 2nd grade and my 1st year as a Marshall Marlin. I am excited about helping every student succeed, achieve their goals, and foster a love to learn. I have a passion for growing young minds, providing a welcoming environment, and building relationships with all stakeholders.

In my free time I enjoy exercising, playing basketball, drawing in sketchbooks, staring at sunsets, and making time for my friends and family to continue to make great memories. My personal goal for 2024 is to complete graduate school with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Ms. Deja Thompson

Hello, 

 

My name is Deja Thompson. I'm so happy to be a part of the Marshall Marlins team for year two. WHOOP WHOOP .  I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's in early childhood education and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. EAT ‘EM UP KATS. I am a  2nd grade teacher. I can't wait to help students meet their goals and watch them grow. We are ready to shine with procedures and routines that will lead to a successful school year. In my free time I love traveling the world, baking cakes, and being a pup mom.. I can't wait to have a fun and successful year.
