Dekaney Ninth-Grade Center
The new ninth-grade center at Dekaney School will meet the unique academic and social needs of new high school students in a building designed to support a more personalized learning environment.
The proposed site plan would have the new center located on the southside of the current campus with the entrance for cars and buses located off Imperial Valley Drive. The design includes a three-story classroom wing and another one-story wing for auxiliary needs such as athletic spaces, cafeteria and fine arts. Administrative spaces would be strategically placed throughout the building to ensure a strong connection to student learning areas.
