Dr. Trenn Russell
Trenn Russell joined Heritage Elementary School as the principal after serving as associate principal and assistant principal at Dueitt Middle School for five years. She has 20 years of experience in education. She has served in several capacities, including special education teacher, math teacher and department chair at Savannah Chatham County School District in Georgia and Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District in Houston. In 2010, Mrs. Russell became the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Houston Can Academy Charter School, where she went on to serve as principal for three years before joining the leadership team at Dueitt.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, a Master’s Degree in Public Health, and a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in learning disabilities from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
