Shalynndrea Sterling-Teel serves as the Principal of The School of International Studies at Bammel. She previously served the campus as Associate Principal and 7th Grade Administrator. With over 18 years of experience in education, she first joined Spring ISD as a district development specialist in 2014. The following school year, she transitioned to campus leadership at Wells Middle School. Mrs. Sterling-Teel also previously served as the 8th Grade Administrator at Twin Creeks Middle School.

Prior to joining the Spring ISD team, her career journey began in Beaumont ISD and West-Orange Cove Consolidated school districts as a middle school mathematics teacher, numeracy specialist, mathematics coach, academic coordinator, and dean of instruction. Mrs. Sterling-Teel earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Lamar University and a Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
