    Free Meals Available to Spring ISD Students During School Closure

    Spring ISD Child Nutrition will be providing curbside meals, as usual, Monday, April 6 through Thursday, April 9, but will not be handing out meals on Friday, April 10 because it is a scheduled holiday. 

    The curbside meal program serves children 18 years old and under at drive-through locations at 12 campuses, and children must be present with their parents to pick up the meals. 

    Morning Curbside Meal schedule - 8 to 11 a.m. at the following school sites:

    • Anderson Elementary, 6218 Lyngate, Spring
    • Bailey Middle, 3377 James C. Leo Dr. (Starts Monday, March 30)
    • Bammel Elementary, 17309 Red Oak Dr., Houston
    • Booker Elementary, 22352 Imperial Valley Dr., Houston
    • Clark Primary, 12625 River Laurel Dr., Houston
    • Claughton Middle, 3000 Spears Rd., Houston
    • Hoyland Elementary, 2200 Wittershaw Dr, Houston
    • McNabb Elementary, 743 East Cypresswood Dr., Spring

     Evening Curbside Meal Schedule -  5 to 7 p.m. at the following school sites:

    • Bailey Middle, 3377 James C. Leo Dr. (Starts Monday, March 30)
    • Claughton Middle, 3000 Spears Rd., Houston
    • Smith Elementary, 26000 Cypresswood Dr., Spring

    Families arriving during the scheduled times the week of March 30 through April 4 will receive the following menu entree items: 

    • Monday:  Pizza Kit
    • Tuesday:  Cheeseburger
    • Wednesday:  Nacho Kit
    • Thursday:  Chicken Sandwich
    • Friday:  Italian Sub Sandwich

    Families arriving during the scheduled times the week of April 6-9 will receive the following entree items: 

    • Monday:  Pizza Kit
    • Tuesday:  Cheeseburger
    • Wednesday:  Nacho Kit
    • Thursday:  Chicken Sandwich

Curbside Meals FAQ

  • I am working during these hours and I am unable to make it. What can I do to make sure my kids get meals?

  • I'm an employee with Spring ISD, asking for a parent and friend, what can we do (as employees) to help with those families that are unable to make the pick up times, due to work or other obstacles?

  • My student can drive. Can they pick up their meals?

  • Do you need volunteers?

  • Are we able to pick up for the week? I work/I won’t have transportation for the remainder of the week.

  • Can volunteers deliver meals to those who don’t have transportation?

  • I have a special needs child who is 21 and still in school. Are they entitled to food as well?

  • Is this only for students enrolled in SISD?

  • Can a neighbor or a friend pick up the meals for my students?

  • I have a lot of children enrolled in SISD. Do they all need to be in the car with me when I pick up meals for them?
