Hello Pack family! Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

My name is Devon Hammel, and this year starts my 17th year in education, my 11th at Spring ISD, and my third at Thompson! 

I am the Digital Literacy Coach for Thompson Elementary. I’m “digital” as I love and manage technology for the school, whether it’s Schoology, Home Access Center (HAC), Blended Learning, and chromebooks. I am also a “literacy” person as I am focused on all of our scholars reading on grade level and developing a lifelong love of learning. The two are combined for me to assist with all forms of online learning, to include Amplify, Education Galaxy, mClass, and more! I look forward to working with scholars, parents, and teachers to help all of our Thompson family bloom in their technology skills and abilities.
