Ms. Le'Fondria Scroggins

Ms. Scroggins is a Seattle native that is passionate about education. She attended Seattle University, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities for Teaching. Her career began in the Mississippi Delta where she spent four years with Teach for America. It was there her love for educational equity was born. She has been teaching for the past 8 years and relocated to Houston, Texas four years ago teaching 5th grade ELA. During this time, she earned the 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year, was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to complete her Master's degree and honored by the Superintendent. She completed her Masters Degree in August 2019 focusing on Educational Leadership and Administration. Her future aspirations include becoming an author, pursuing a doctorate degree and continuing to impact students. She will serve as the new Student Support Specialist for the 2020-2021 school year. She is thrilled to be taking on this new role at Link Elementary and excited to kick off this great year!
