Hello and welcome to the 22/23 school year at Thompson Elementary!
My name is Amanda Howard and this will be my 4th year at TES. I am excited to be the Literacy Coach for our campus this year! I will be collaborating with all K-5 teachers to provide curriculum support and create a culture of literacy for our scholars.
I earned my Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education at WGU. I am certified in grades EC-6 as well as holding a supplemental certification for teaching ESL and G/T.
This year our school theme is "Blossom Where You've Been Planted!" I know that ALL of our scholars and staff members have the ability to grow and succeed this year!
