Detectives are commissioned peace officers assigned to the Criminal Investigations Units under the Professional Services Division of the Spring ISD Police Department. The Criminal Investigations Unit is comprised of 1 Lieutenant and 2 Detectives. Duties include investigating alleged or suspected civil or criminal violations of federal and state laws, local statutes, District Regulations, examining crime scenes, and interviewing those on scene.
