Anderson Elementary School

Spring Independent School District

Welcome Message

  • Principal Ms. Kristin Falcon - Principal

    Dear Families,

I am so excited to welcome all of our Anderson Gators back to school for the 2019-2020 school year! This year, we will focus on academic excellence, great character, and of course, finding the leader within all of our students. Anderson is a Leader in Me school, which means our students learn about the Seven Habits of Happy Kids, and how to apply these habits to help them learn personal responsibility, goal setting, and cooperation with others. We look forward to continuing our journey this year.

As a reminder, our school hours this year are 7:35 – 2:55. Doors will open at 7:10, and breakfast will be served (for free!) to all students in the classrooms. Please help us give your child the very best chance for success by having them here on time every day unless they are truly ill. Last year, our campus attendance rate was 95.8%, and our goal for this year is 97%. It will take some work to accomplish this, but we can do it with your help!

We look forward to an exciting, productive year. Thank you for your support, and for entrusting us with your amazing children. It is our honor to serve as their school family, and to help them achieve great things. Together, we will make this the best school year ever!

    Kristin Falcon
    Principal, Anderson Elementary

  • How to Opt In to Receive District Phone Calls & Text Messages

Spring ISD has an automated messaging system that allows the district to communicate with parents and staff quickly and efficiently via phone call, text/sms message and email. The system is only effective, however, if the district has accurate contact information for those groups.

Sometimes people choose or accidentally opt out of receiving the callouts and text messages and change their mind later. Spring ISD parents and staff who would like to opt back in to receive phone and text/sms messages may do so by following these instructions:

Phone calls: Call the Blackboard Phone Hotline at 855-502-7867 from the phone line that has been opted out.

Text (SMS) messages: Reply START to "60680" from the phone line that has been opted out for non-emergency messages. Reply START to "54968" for emergency messages.

  • Stay Updated on the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Spring ISD, in support of city and county measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, will close schools and offices through Friday, April 10. This closure announcement supports what health experts say is the most important strategy for containing COVID-19 — the practice of social distancing. With this extended school closure in place, Spring ISD is actively working on plans to serve district students and families remotely.

Spring ISD remains in contact with local, state and federal health officials to ensure the continued safety of students and staff. Learn more about what the district is doing and how you can help here.
