Coach H began dancing at a very young age and grew up attending class and competing for many dance studios. She is a graduate of Atascocita High School, where she was a 4-year member and 3-year officer of the Patriettes dance team. After high school, she attended TVCC, where she danced on scholarship for the Trinity Valley Cardettes. This team is a traditional drill team based on precision and performance. She chose to transfer to McLennan to further her dance career and to once again dance on scholarship, for the National Champion MCC dance team. This team is much more competitive and would be considered a pom squad; focusing on technique, tricks, jazz, hip-hop, and pom. She completed her college experience at Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) There she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Throughout her college career, she worked for numerous dance studios wherever she lived, and traveled all over Texas to host workshops and do choreography for many middle and high schools. She previously was the Asst. Director for the Humble High School Wildcatdets, where she revamped the team's technical training. She is currently the competition team Director at Atascocita Dance Academy dance studio, where she is completing her 5th season. Coach H is married to her college sweetheart, Jeremy, and they have 2 precious dogs, Tank & Cooper.
