Welcome to Major’s 21st Century CCLC Program!
Major Elementary School has been awarded for a fourth year in a row, the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant. This grant funds FREE before and after-school academic and enrichment programs! With this grant our school has been selected to provide tutoring services and fun enrichment activities in our new and exciting 21stCentury before and after School Program Project SAFE. By allowing your child to participate in the before and after-school program, you are showing continuous support your child’s success for many years to come.
The emphasis of the program will be placed on reading, writing, math, science, and homework assistance with opportunities in enrichment, college & career readiness, and parent engagement. Students will receive a meal each day of the program. Students will participate in academic-based classes which includes, tutoring and homework assistance along with various scheduled enrichment and extracurricular activities.
Our 1st day of program is Monday, August 26th, 2019. Program is Monday - Thursday from 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm; on Fridays, our program ends at 5:30 pm.
