Shenequal Aldridge - 8th Grade Counselor

Mrs. Shenequal Aldridge is excited about serving on the TCMS Counseling team as the 8th grade Counselor for her upcoming third year. Prior to joining Spring ISD, Mrs. Aldridge was an English Teacher at Alief ISD for over four years. Mrs. Aldridge graduated from Texas Southern University in English Education. Mrs. Aldridge also holds a Master in Counseling from Texas Southern University. Currently, she is very excited about serving as your 8th grade counselor. Her overall goal is to make sure students are supported emotionally and academically. Moreover, to make sure every 8th grade is aware of their high school and post-educational opportunities. Ms. Jana Lopez - 7th Grade Counselor

 

 
This is Mrs. Lopez’s second year as the 7th grade counselor at Twin Creeks Middle School.  Prior to coming to Twin Creeks, she was an elementary school counselor in HISD for two years and taught English Language Arts for eight years.  She has a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University in English Education and a Masters in School Counseling. Mrs. Lopez is originally from Lafayette, La, and currently resides in Spring, TX.  She has two children, ages thirteen and nine, and enjoys running, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Lopez’s overall goals are to ensure students succeed academically and to help students thrive in a safe learning environment.

Mr. Anthony J. Childress - Lead Counselor and 6th Grade

This will be Mr. Childress’ sixth year here @ Twin Creeks as a counselor and fifteenth overall year in Spring I.S.D. with experience @ Wells, and Bailey Middle Schools as a Special Education Teacher.  Continuing, Mr. Childress earned his Bachelors of Science Degree from Ball State University in his home State of Indiana, and his Master’s in School Counseling from Prairie View A&M University.  Mr. Childress’ goals are:  To Assist students and families with the ongoing transition from elementary to middle school; To provide opportunities for students to use social skills to resolve conflicts through mediations; To support the academic success, positive socialization and mental health of our students; and to serve as a liaison for the school, home and community partnership.
