Are Spring ISD Virtual Learning Program courses accredited?
Yes, The courses offered through the Virtual Learning Program are accredited through the Spring ISD.
Can I take Spring ISD Virtual Learning Program courses and my regular high school at the same time?
Yes, Virtual Learning Program courses are designed for students currently enrolled in a Spring ISD school, as well as students who are on homebound is Spring ISD. If you are currently enrolled in school and intend to take a VLP course for graduation credit, you must contact your school counselor to gain official approval and to ensure proper recording of VLP courses on your transcript.

Spring ISD Virtual Learning Program offers core and elective course.
How many Virtual Learning Program courses can I take at one time?
Students currently enrolled in Spring ISD will be allowed to take up to 2 Virtual Learning Program courses. If students take more than 2 courses special permission is required. We encourage you to balance your VLP course load with your current schedule. If you are a full time student, you should consult with your school counselor or a VLP counselor to design a plan that best fits your schedule and degree plan.
Will Virtual Learning Program credit transfer to another school district?
Spring ISD Virtual Learning Program credit is awarded through Spring ISD and is completely transferable within the United States.
How long does it take to complete a course?
Spring ISD Virtual Learning Program courses are designed to be completed in a semester schedule similar to face to face classes.
What is the cost of tuition?
There is no tuition fee if a Virtual course is taken during the Fall or Spring semester terms. Tuition for a VLP course is based on each semester (.5 credit). Fees will be posted in February. Some courses may require the purchase of additional materials not included in the tuition fee. Scholarships are available.
What is the refund policy?
Within 5 days of the first day of the Summer term, students may cancel enrollment and receive a reimbursement of tuition, as per enrollment agreement. A fee of $50 will be retained for administrative expenses. Students that have not communicated with their Virtual School teacher within the first 10 days of school may be dropped from the course and tuition will not be reimbursed.
