Mr. Vaughn Hill
Vaughn Hill began his teaching career right here in Spring ISD at Roberson Middle School as a 6th grade science and health science teacher. He has spent the last 7 of 8 years at Wells Middle School. At Wells he has taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science.
He was the science department chair as well as one of the girls’ volleyball and basketball coaches. After helping to move the science department from last in the district to first, with a 22% gain in STAAR scores, Mr. Hill was awarded the 2014 Wells Middle School Teacher of the Year award. Once Mr. Hill left the classroom he became the 6th grade assistant principal at Wells Middle School and has looped up with his students each year.
Mr. Hill holds an undergraduate degree in Middle Childhood Education, from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership, from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. In his free time, Mr. Hill enjoys cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns, and spending time with his wife.
