Spring ISD is excited to introduce Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) at Dekaney High School for the 2021-2022 school year. P-TECH is an innovative high school that allows students to receive curriculum focused on workforce needs and partnerships while obtaining credentials, certificates and an associate degree.
Students participating in the P-TECH can:

- Earn a high school diploma and an associate degree in computer programming at NO COST
- Graduate with up to 60 college credit hours transferable to any Texas supported college or university
- Gain work experience through internships, apprenticeships or job training programs
Students must apply for the P-TECH program and will begin coursework in the 9th grade.
P-TECH students can leave high school with a diploma and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Computer Programming to transfer to a four-year Bachelor of Applied Science Degree or gain the skills to move into a high demand job. Industry certificate opportunities will include computer programming, game design, animation, and coding.
