Dr. Trenn Russell has been named the new principal at the School for International Studies at Bammel for the 2023-2024 school year. Dr. Russell has been with Spring ISD for nearly a decade, having served as an assistant principal at Dueitt Middle School and most recently the principal at Heritage Elementary School. During her time at Heritage, the campus was awarded a “B” rating from the Texas Education Agency and earned a distinction in comparative growth twice, as well as academic achievement in science. An educator for almost two decades, Dr. Russell earned three degrees from Armstrong Atlantic State University: a Bachelor of Health Administration followed by both a Master of Public Health and a Master of Special Education. She earned her Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 2022.
