    Black History Oratory Competition
The Spring ISD Social Studies Curriculum team was honored to host the first ever Spring ISD Virtual Black History Program! Despite the ongoing pandemic and historic winter storm in February, the department was honored to have so many schools and students participate in the competition. This year's theme was "Triumphs and Struggles You May Not Have Known About." The time, effort and sacrifice of our school coordinators and students shows a true commitment to diversity, inclusion and learning!

Thank You!

  • The Spring ISD Social Studies Curriculum team would like to thank our community partners who sacrificed their time to serve as judges for our students' work. In addition, thank you to Chick-Fil-A for their donations of gift cards for every student and campus coordinator who participated.
