Early Childhood Programs
Welcome to Spring ISD's Early Childhood page. Our mission is that all pre-K children receive a high quality education in a safe and caring environment. In Spring ISD, we understand the importance of giving our young children a smart start by providing them with experiences that develop their academic and intellectual skills. Our curriculum is based on the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines with an emphasis on a systematic and sequential continuum for building skills and concepts. A child's learning years lay the foundation for all there is to come. We are committed to do whatever it takes to ensure the success of our young learners.
In Spring ISD, we are delighted to offer several high-quality Early Childhood programs, for children four years old and younger.
Our most widely available program is Prekindergarten, which is available at all of our campuses. This is for children who are four years old by September 1 of the current school year and meet state eligibility requirements.
PPCD (Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities) is available for children at least three years old who are identified as having a disability or delays.
The Early Learning Academy is a licensed daycare facility at Westfield High School that serves as a lab for high school students studying to become Early Childhood teachers.
The Teen Parent Program is for students who wish to enroll their child in the Early Learning Academy at Westfield High School.
