Hello! My name is Kimberly Conner. This is my fourth year at Anderson Elementary and I am so proud to be a gator! I have taught Kindergarten, fourth grade and first and fifth grade in summer school. I also have served as a substitute teacher all over Spring ISD. I grew up here in Spring and attended Ponderosa Elementary, Wells Middle School and Westfield High School. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Before coming to Anderson Elementary, I was a head vet tech and owned my own door business.

I have three paint horses, Gus, Cody and Jax, and a sweet chihuahua named Charlie.I am an active member of Lone Star Cowgirls mounted drill team. We travel all over Texas and specialize in pre-rodeo entertainment and parades. I also teach horseback riding lessons to children and young adults at a local stable. I am a member of East Texas Search and Rescue and two of my horses are certified rescue horses. My husband and I are active members of our church and were recently baptized together. I like to trail ride, read, watch movies, go to church and spend time with friends and family. I love Mexican food! I look forward to meeting you and working with your child this year. It’s going to be a great year!

Welcome to our 3rd grade classroom. I'm so excited to be an Anderson Gator. My name is Melva Evans and I attended both Bammel and Twin Creeks Middle schools graduating from Spring High School. Upon graduation, I obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Downtown and furthered my education at the University of Houston, earning a Masters of Education in Elementary Education. My experience includes a total of 16 years of which 2 years were teaching 3rd grade Language Arts in Aldine ISD. I then transferred to Spring ISD teaching an additional year in 3rd grade Language Arts. My experience also includes teaching 4th grade Math for 8 years & completing another 5 years as a Math Coach.

My family consists of the love of my life, Harold Nash, and 2 lovely daughters who are Spring ISD graduates, Janique and Amber Evans. Janique graduated from Wunsche/Spring High and now attends Texas A&M and Amber graduated from Spring High now attending Texas State University. We love animals so between the 4 of us there are 3 Pit Bulls (Mia, DaeDae, and Naomi), 1 Schnauzer/Terrier mix (Oliver) and a cat (Nugget). As you can see, animals are an important part of our family and what I consider my relaxation. This year is going to be a great year of fun and learning and I look forward to working with my scholars and parents to make it happen.

Mrs. Anne Michelson

Hello! I'm Anne Michelson and I have worked at Anderson for 20 years, 7 as a substitute teacher and 13 as a full time teacher. I was born and raised in New Jersey, but consider Texas my home since I have lived here going on 28 years now.

I have two grown daughters, Katie and Rachel. Katie and her husband have given me my 2 precious granddaughters, Cora who is 2 1/2 and Anna who will be 1 in October. Both of my daughters were Anderson Gators some time ago, so Anderson is like a part of my family.

I spent about 10 years teaching 4th grade and am now beginning my third year as a 3rd grade teacher. I really enjoy teaching this grade. It is a fun age and the reading and writing really begin to take shape at this time in a child’s development.

I am very excited to start this new school year and to have the privilege of getting to know your children. I feel honored to play such an important role in their lives for this year and know that working together we will see much success and growth.

Mr. Humberto Romero, Bilingual Teacher

Hello, I'm Mr. Romero and this is my 11th year in the elementary school setting. In college, I taught English at Quick Learning School in Monterrey where I immediately fell in love with teaching at all grade levels.

I am a father of a high school junior boy and senior girl (both members of the band), my wife is the best mom, best friend and the coolest person I know, and our pet is a two year old male dachshund who demands all our attention. In 2003, after many years of training, I won the Texas State Fall Mountain Bike championship. My hobbies are anything outdoors - mountain biking, road biking, running, soccer, kayaking and camping out.
