Mrs. Alice Hill

Hello everyone! My name is Alice Hill and I am so excited to be on the Anderson 5th grade team this year!

My husband and I have lived in the Spring area for 25 years and our son is a former Anderson Gator.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree from UNT, and worked in Corporate Human Resources prior to becoming a teacher.

I love reading, spending time with family and friends (preferably at the beach), and volunteering at SIRE - a therapeutic equestrian center for children with special needs. I am looking forward to a great year!

Hey there Gators! My name is Michelle Mair and I am so excited to be a part of the Gator family. This will be my first year at Anderson and my 4th year in education. I have previously taught 4th and 5th grade math, science, writing and social studies.

I am a product of Spring ISD myself. I attended Winship Elementary, Twin Creeks Middle School, and Spring/Wunsche High school. I then went on to graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I stayed in East Texas for 3 more years and decided this past year it was time to come home.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, cooking and crafting. I am so excited about this year’s journey!

Ms. Rosa Batista, Bilingual Teacher

Hello my dear Gators! My name is Rosa Batista and I am honored to be an Anderson Gator. After teaching at another wonderful Spring ISD campus, I can happily say "Honey we're home!" I have a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, but my passion is teaching kids so I got my Bilingual teaching certification here in Texas.

I was born in the Dominican Republic, raised in NYC and now am a Texan. This is my first year at Anderson as a teacher, but I have been teaching for several years. This is my 2nd year teaching 5th grade bilingual. I have been part of the Anderson family for years since my children are both Anderson Gators and it’s my pleasure to be able to educate our youth at this exceptional campus.

I have two wonderful kiddos, Bryan, who is 11 and currently attending Robertson Middle School, and Jade, who is 7 and currently starting the 2nd grade here at Anderson. This summer we finally got the puppy we have been wanting for so long, Lola. She is a German Shepherd who wants to play all day long and we are loving every bit of it. My family and I love traveling, especially to warm tropical places with beautiful beaches. The beach is my favorite place ever and I love to swim. I am looking forward to meeting all of our scholars, and I have a feeling that this is going to be a wonderful year!
