Once a Gator, Always a Gator! I previously taught at Anderson Elementary for ten years before leaving to pursue my dream of becoming a principal. This will be my 17th year in education. I am married to my wonderful husband, Jason, and all four of our children were once Anderson Gators. This year, I took on a new, higher calling as I became a grandmother. I have come back into the classroom so that I can enjoy more time with my precious grand baby.
I believe that all children can learn! Teaching has been my ministry. Kids are just tiny souls that need someone to believe in them and challenge them to shine. I look forward to helping students learn to love math.

Hello! I am so excited to be a Gator (again) this time as a teacher. My 4 children all went to Anderson Elementary. I have many fond memories of that time. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University. I taught Science and Special Education at Twin Creeks Middle School for 22 years. My husband and I together have 7 children and 13 grandchildren. When I am not teaching I enjoy camping, kayaking, geocaching, crocheting, and spending time with family. I am also a huge Astros fan!

Hello, I’m a “new” Gator, but I’ve been in education for more than 20 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade, although most of my teaching career has been teaching in the upper elementary grades (3-5).
I was raised in south Texas, but moved to the Houston area 13 years ago. I am married and have 4 children, three boys and one girl. My kids are curious, creative and full of energy and keep me busy, to say the least. Other than teaching, I love to travel and have visited much of the Eastern and Western seaboard of the US, and parts of Europe. My next travel venture is to Greece.
I am looking forward to a great year!!
