  • Hello! I am excited to partner with you and the K-5 teachers here at Thompson to help your child succeed this year! 

    My name is Janet Goodwyn I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education and minor in Special Education from Sam Houston State University(SHSU).

    In addition to that I hold a Master's in Adult Leadership. This will be my 9th year teaching and my 8th year here at Thompson!

    This year we will continue to strive for excellence in all we do! My teaching and coaching philosophy is everyone can succeed when given the proper tools and training. I also stress the importance of learning and taking educational risks to all students and teachers!
