New Teacher Induction

The New Teacher Induction Academy is a three-year program designed to support new teachers. It includes ongoing learning sessions, online learning, induction boot camps, and a monthly New Teacher Update Newsletter, among other learning opportunities and activities. All new teachers in Spring ISD receive continuous and relevant professional development regarding the Spring ISD curriculum, student achievement and teacher expectations.  

Mentor Program

In order to ensure first-year teachers and veteran teachers new to the district have a smooth transition into the Spring ISD culture, each new teacher is partnered with a mentor teacher. The mentor teacher helps promote growth and development as students work to increase student learning.

College Connections

Spring ISD partners with various local universities to provide employees the opportunity to take courses at a discounted rate.
