Caring for your child at school

In Spring ISD we believe the health and wellness of the whole child is important for them to succeed in school and life. This year, we’re investing in a new position, Mental Health Director, to help strengthen our ability to meet the physical, social and emotional needs of our students.

School nurses take the lead in campus health care

We have full-time nurses on every campus to care for children who become ill or injured at school. They also administer prescribed medication during the school day when a doctor’s order is provided. If your child has any special health needs, including allergies, make sure you discuss them with the school nurse. Also be sure to fill out, sign and return the Student Health Information Form in your first-day packet, so your school nurse has up-to-date contact information and an emergency contact number.

2018-19 Immunization Requirements
