  1. Berenjena en Escabeche While researching food in Argentina (location of Mt. Aconcagua), we found a recipe for Berenjena en Escabeche (Marinated Eggplant).

  2. Now that you have viewed the recipe, ake out a sheet of notebook paper. Write your name, date, and grade on the first three lines. Title your paper Berenjena en Escabeche.

  3. Underneath your title, skip a line and create a three-column chart with your pencil.

  4. Write the word Ingredients at the top of the first column. Write 4 Servings at the top of the second column. Write 1 Serving at the top of the third column.

  5. In the first column, under the title, list each ingredient needed to make Berenjena en Escabeche on a separate line. In the second column, under the title, list the original quantity or amounts of each ingredient needed to make four servings. In the third column, under the title, write down how much of each ingredient would be needed for just one person.

  6. This means you will have to divide each number in the second column by 4. Refer to the website you previously viewed for the recipe and the list of ingredients needed to make Berenjena en Escabeche.
