    1. Skip a line and write the number 1.
    2. Skip a line and write the number 2.
    3. Skip a line and write the number 3.
    4. Continue this until you have numbers 1-5 on your paper.
  3. Think about the small piece of a famous opera that you listened to earlier. Next to each number, write a question that you have about the opera in general.  For example, “Where and when did the opera first begin? “

For ideas on questions you might want to ask, look closely at the audience, the musicians, the people on stage and the singer herself. When you are finished watching, try to see if you can hold a note as well as this singer. Project your voice and be an opera singer for one minute!
