Lieutenant
Lieutenant David J. Borchardt graduated from the U.S. Air Force BPOC-equivalent in 1999 and from Greene County Criminal Justice Academy in 2008. Lt. Borchardt has worked in various areas such as instructor, data analyst, program evaluator, and patrol sergeant as well as with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office as an investigator. In 2014, Lt. Borchardt was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. In 2020, Lt. Borchardt joined the Spring ISD Police Department as a lieutenant.
Prior to his service with the Spring ISD Police Department, Lt. Borchardt was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force serving 10 years in Security Forces as an officer.
Lieutenant Borchardt has earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, a master of science degree in criminal justice administration from the University of Providence, and is working on his PhD from at Nova Southeastern University in Criminal Justice. Lt. Borchardt holds a master peace officer certificate and a mental health officer certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
