Ann Green has over 30 years of Public Safety experience and is a graduate of The Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas.
She started her career in 1991 serving as a 9-1-1 operator, call-taker, and dispatcher and has been serving as a Public Safety Manager since 2009.
During her career, she has been the proud recipient of awards to commend her performance in public safety. In 2001, the Houston Metro Transit Police Department Unit Citation Award. In 2007, the Houston Metro Transit Police Department Chief of Police Commendation Award. In 2009, the Houston Independent School District Police Department Supervisor of the Year Award.
As Telecommunications Manager and Command Staff member at the Spring ISD Police Department, she manages the Police Emergency Communications Center, Real-Time Safety Center, and Police Records Division. She holds the TCOLE license for Master Telecommunicator and certifications for Advanced Field Training, and Basic Instructor.
