Corporal Ormond has been a police officer since 2005 serving with the Spring ISD Police Department and a short time with the Montgomery County Sheriff Office. His experience includes serving as an officer for Chief Bragg from 2005 – 2011 and as a Deputy Sheriff for Sheriff Tommy Gage in 2008 and as a Corporal for Chief Victor Mitchell since 2012.

In September 2012 Charles Ormond was promoted by Chief Victor Mitchell to the rank of Corporal and continues to serve in that capacity.
