Sergeant
Sergeant Vincent Olivarri has proudly served the Spring ISD Police Department since May 2013. He started out as Lead Detective for the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and then was promoted to Sergeant in August of 2020. Sgt. Olivarri serves as the department’s Quartermaster. Sgt. Olivarri graduated from the Lone Star Police Academy in December 2011.
Prior to his service with the Spring ISD Police Department, Sgt. Olivarri was a Specialist in the U.S. Army, serving as a Combat Engineer. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Sgt. Olivarri’s unit earned a Presidential Citation Award. Sergeant Olivarri received an Honorable Discharge.
Sgt. Olivarri holds an Intermediate Peace Officer License. Additionally Sgt. Olivarri is certified as a TCOLE Basic Instruction, Basic Criminal Investigations, Background Investigations, Armorer (Glock Pistol), Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Spanish for Law Enforcement Instructor, and TCOLE Patrol Rifle Course.
