Will we get paid for the time we were off due to the storm?

Exempt staff will be paid as normal for days missed due to the storm until normal operations resume. Once normal operations resume, leave time usage may be required to continue to account for additional time off per Board policy DEC (Local). For hourly and non-exempt staff, the district’s Board of Trustees approved Friday, Sept. 1 a resolution that would allow workers to be paid for days off due to the storm based on regularly scheduled hours (For example: a 6 ½ hour a day employee will be paid for 6 ½ hours each day of the district closure).
