Thespians

Spring High School Theatre students recently participated in the Texas Thespians College Audition Program, and their accomplishments are truly worthy of celebration. While we are incredibly proud that 11 Spring High School students qualified for Nationals, the success of our seniors in the college audition process deserves special recognition.

Six seniors represented Spring High School in the College Audition Program and achieved outstanding results:

  • Frank Bastian received 15 callbacks.

  • Mikayla Zepeda earned 14 callbacks.

  • Arianna Washington received an impressive 25 callbacks and four scholarship offers of $20,000 per year or more from Doane University, Rowan University, Centenary College, and Friends University.

  • Laila Lopez achieved an incredible 35 callbacks and five scholarship offers of $20,000 per year or more from Doane University, Centenary College, Friends University, Oklahoma City University, and Nebraska Wesleyan University.

We are still awaiting final callback lists from Ke’yanah Nolan and Abeer Siddiqui, but their successes are already notable. Abeer Siddiqui has been offered a spot in Texas Woman’s University’s Musical Theatre program, and Ke’yanah Nolan received a $20,000 scholarship offer from Centenary College.

Adding to this excitement, the University of Houston and Centenary College have requested to attend a performance of Carrie in order to see all of our talented students in action.

Congratulations to our theatre students for their hard work, dedication, and remarkable achievements. Spring High School is incredibly proud of you! 🎭
