I hope you each had a restful spring break and are ready to return refreshed for a strong finish to the semester. As we continue through the spring semester, our focus remains on keeping students safe, prepared, and ready to learn each day. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Please review the important reminders and upcoming events below:

📸 Spring Picture Day – Tuesday
Spring Picture Day is this Tuesday. Students must prepay in order to take pictures. Those who have prepaid may enjoy free dress; however, all dress code guidelines still apply (no shorts, tank tops, or ripped/holed jeans).

⏰ Attendance & Instructional Time
Instruction begins promptly at 9:05 AM each day. Students arriving at or after 9:05 AM are considered late and will not have time for breakfast. Please ensure students arrive on time so they can start their day successfully.

🚗 Morning Arrival Procedures
For student safety, supervision begins at 8:30 AM. Students should not be on campus unattended before this time. Walkers should wait to enter campus, and car riders must remain in their vehicles until 8:30 AM.

📚 Saturday School Opportunities
We will continue offering Saturday School sessions to support student learning and provide opportunities for academic growth. Remaining dates include:

Attention Warriors! In honor of Women’s History Month, students have the opportunity to participate in the “She Persisted” Essay Contest, inspired by the children’s book She Persisted.

Students are invited to write an essay about a woman who made a significant historical impact and include a personal reflection on how her perseverance inspires you.

The submission window is March 2 through March 24, 2026. Essays must be submitted to Mrs. Thomas.

Winners will receive a trophy, a tablet, and other prizes, and will be recognized at the April School Board Meeting.

Scholars are responsible for checking their Chromebook at the start of each class period and reporting any damages immediately. A Chromebook policy form was sent home and must be signed by both you and your scholar. If you have not returned the form, please complete the attached copy and send it to the school as soon as possible.

Parents, please continue to review the Student Code of Conduct and Student-Parent Handbook with your scholars. This addresses vaping consequences (as mandated by state law) as well as rules for student ID badges and dress code.

We want to remind everyone that if your scholar has any discipline concerns during the current 9 weeks that resulted in your scholar being assigned to EC, OSS or earning an N or U on his/her progress or report cards, he/she may not participate in any school sponsored activities (dances, talent shows, faculty v student games, during or after school shows/events etc). Students must behave appropriately in order to be trusted to behave in all of our fun-filled activities. This process renews every 9 Weeks.
