Bailey Middle School Program Supports Positive Behaviors with Student Rewards
This year, Bailey Middle School students are earning points for good behavior — points that can be traded in for rewards through a special on-campus store. Even better, according to students, is how the new program is changing the campus culture and making life – and learning – easier for everyone.

Central Support Staff Members Recognized for Contributions to Spring ISD’s Culture and Mission
Spring ISD held the second Central Support Staff Meetings of the 2019-20 school year on Wednesday at the Spring ISD Community Engagement Center and the district’s Transportation Center. The meetings covered a range of topics, beginning with an update from Superintendent Dr. Rodney E. Watson on the district’s partnership with The Holdsworth Center to strengthen the district’s leadership pipeline.

First HUGS Event of the Year Features Pancakes, Bacon and a lot of Goodwill
Central Support staff members got a special treat Friday morning as the HUGS Committee hosted its first breakfast of the 2019-20 school year with a surprise panel of griddle cooks serving up pancakes to nearly 200 employees.

Dekaney High School Students, Parents and Administrators Boast about School’s Progress
Dekaney High School parents and guardians had the opportunity to experience a day at school with their students during Tour de Wildcat -- a new initiative to increase parent and student engagement at the campus. The open-house-style event was designed to highlight the positive changes occurring at the comprehensive high school.

Spring ISD Receives ‘Transparency Star’ for Financial Accountability from Texas Comptroller
In recognition of the district’s ongoing efforts to ensure greater accountability and transparency, Spring ISD was awarded a Transparency Star by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Comptroller Glenn Hegar recently announced Spring ISD as among the latest local government entities to achieve the transparency goals outlined through the state’s Transparency Stars program.
